New Years’ first week – What happened

The first week of the 2016 started with the reforms in social security. The greek government sent a preliminary plan of the new structure of social security to the EuroWorking Group and it is waiting its feedback by the end of the month. Also, the country is getting ready for the second -and final- round of the elections for the leader of New Democracy, the main Opposition party this Sunday. Finally, the privatisation procedure is continued with the sale of Asteras Vouliagmenis, one of the most popular beaches in Attica.
