{"id":10161,"date":"2025-11-04T17:38:43","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T15:38:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qed.gr\/week-20-27-5-2016-in-pictures\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T13:30:42","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T11:30:42","slug":"week-20-27-5-2016-in-pictures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qed.gr\/en\/week-20-27-5-2016-in-pictures\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 20-27\/5\/2016 in pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1428\" src=\"http:\/\/qed.gr\/marketresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/vouli111.jpg\" alt=\"vouli111\" width=\"623\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qed.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/vouli111.jpg 623w, https:\/\/qed.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/vouli111-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 623px) 100vw, 623px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Having all eyes focused on it, the Greek parliament voted a number of laws, for which the term \u201cmultilaw\u201d was used and which included laws concerning taxation, the creation of a \u201cSuperfund\u201d, an institution responsible for privatisation of public property as well as the \u201cautomatic budget cuts\u201d that will occur unless Greece meets the financial targets agreed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1425\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" src=\"http:\/\/qed.gr\/marketresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/eurogroup_533_355.jpg\" alt=\"eurogroup_533_355\" width=\"622\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/qed.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/eurogroup_533_355.jpg 533w, https:\/\/qed.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/eurogroup_533_355-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 622px) 100vw, 622px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Having voted the \u201cmultilaw\u201d, the Greek government went to Eurogroup, where all the parties were quite positive that there is going to be an agreement with both the Greek government and the IMF concerning both the programme evaluation as well as the Greek debt. However, no actual decisions were taken; therefore Greece is in a standby mode awaiting the results of the referendum about Brexit, as well as those of the elections in Germany and Spain.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1427\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" src=\"http:\/\/qed.gr\/marketresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/tsipras-merkel-erntogan.jpg\" alt=\"tsipras-merkel-erntogan\" width=\"622\" height=\"371\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Greek PM visited Istanbul for the World Humanitarian UN Summit, where he also met with the president of Turkey, Mr Erdogan.
