Moria, the largest refugee camp in the country was completely destroyed by a large fire. The future is now uncertain for the 12,000 migrants and refugees that had been living there under squalid conditions. Some of them will move to a new camp, currently under construction, in the same island but this is opposed by locals who want all of them to be relocated to the mainland.
